Fall Graduate Assistant Orientations

Starting a graduate assistantship this fall? Please contact Mary Chenault or Kandace Stone to reserve a spot in one of the following GA Orientation Sessions to take place in the Library Training Center.

New Graduate Student Orientation at Fort Worth

Are you a new Tarleton graduate student in the Fort Worth area? If so, consider attending the upcoming New Graduate Student Orientation. The event is open to new graduate students of all majors and will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, at the Fort Worth campus. If you are interested in attending, please contact Mweni Ekpo at ekpo@tarleton.edu, and include your name, graduate degree program, and dietary restrictions (if any).


Mediation Class

ADRI 5341 Mediation is on Mondays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Stephenville campus. Learn techniques of conflict resolution and negotiation. At the end of the course, you will be a qualified mediator for the state of Texas. Instructor has experience mediating cases in agriculture, environmental issues, housing, business, family, contracts, discrimination, and employment.


Music Ensemble Opportunities

Performing in these groups is not just for undergrads! If you would like to continue playing in band, Tarleton Bands would welcome your participation. Opportunities are available for marching band, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble. For more information, contact Dr. Gary Westbrook at band@tarleton.edu.


Alumni Spotlight

Diana Martinez graduated from Tarleton’s MBA program in 2015 and applies her degree towards equality and empowering others. Diana currently works as the Corporate Relations Manager for LATINA Style, a national magazine from Washington, D.C., now based in Dallas. Learn more about Diana in our recent Alumni Spotlight.
