Flag Carriers Needed for Graduation
There are 27 countries represented at Tarleton this spring 2017. International Programs requests your help as an international flag carrier during this semester’s graduation ceremonies taking place on May 12. (Graduating students are not eligible to participate.) Sign up here.
Tarleton joins Carnegie Project
Tarleton State University is one of 22 new schools accepted into the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED), making it one of only eight Texas colleges invited to join.
According to Tarleton President F. Dominic Dottavio: “Selection to the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate is an exciting milestone for Tarleton.”
Law Enforcement Conference
Tarleton State University’s School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Strategic Studies will host a free, all-day conference – “Leadership for Law Enforcement in the Post-Ferguson Era”- on April 27.
The conference takes place at the Texas A&M University School of Law, 1515 Commerce St., in downtown Fort Worth. Registration begins at 8 a.m. outside the second floor conference center. Participants who stay for the day will receive credit from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
