“Nothing is as real as a dream. The world can change around you, but your dream will not. Your life may change, but your dream doesn’t have to. Responsibilities need not erase it. Duties need not obscure it.” – Tom Clancy

National Athletic Training Month

MSAT group picMarch is National Athletic Traning Month! In 2016, Tarleton State University introduced its new Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program. Since then, the MSAT program has focused on service, inquiry, and leadership while utilizing curriculum that provides students with the hands-on skills and training to sit for the national certification exam. Annually, Tarleton admits 12 students into its MSAT cohort program. According to Dr. Jennifer Lancaster, National Athletic Training month is about awareness for the dedicated healthcare professionals known as athletic trainers. Learn more about Tarleton’s MSAT program and the athletic traning profession in our program spotlight.

Week of Service provides opportunities for Tarleton Texans to engage in the community through the annual Round Up work day, support the university and fellow students through the Day of Giving, and connect knowledge learned in the classroom to the service experience on Service Day.
