Underwater Treadmill Demonstration

March is National Athletic Training month! Tarleton’s master’s program in Athletic Training will be hosting a variety of events to promote the profession and is hosting the HydroWorx mobile showroom this coming Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Dr. Jennifer Lancaster of Tarleton’s MSAT program states: “The MSAT students learn about therapeutic exercise and how to progress individuals from injury or dysfunction back to an improved level of performance. While the Tarleton pool is available for students to learn and practice aquatic therapy, the underwater treadmill provides additional possibilities for rehabilitation purposes. We want our students exposed to as many tools and technologies as possible, in order to be able to create the best outcomes for their patients when they enter the professional realm of athletic training.”

Learn more about the benefits of an underwater treadmill.  Visit HydroWorx online, and come by Wisdom Gym in Stephenville on Tuesday to view the demonstration.
