Prehistoric Googling  Back in the day before fancy computers could tell you where to find a book in a library, librarians would create small cards that went into a catalog. These cards gave information about a specific book and were organized in alphabetical order in a specially made box that had many drawers to fit the cards.:

Networking Opportunity

Sanderson Farms has invited Tarleton to the 2017 Texas Super Chicken Road Show on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 and Thursday, February 16, 2017. The event begins with a reception on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station, Texas. Dinner will follow the reception at 6:30 p.m. Company representatives will discuss operations of Sanderson Farms as well as the employment opportunities offered by Sanderson Farms. Also, mark your calendars for our first Financial Awareness Workshop of 2017!  This workshop is hosted by COGS and Financial Aid, and will be held at the Fort Worth campus on February 16th at 10 a.m.  Current and prospective graduate students are invited to attend.  More information to come!

Tarleton’s Centennial Year

In 2017, Tarleton celebrates its 100th year as a member of the Texas A&M system. With a host of activities to commemorate the centennial year, Tarleton embraces its rich history which has made it one of the fastest growing schools in the nation.
