RSAW 2016 continues through the week, with events such as the Meet the Authors book signing, a keynote address by Dr. David Whillock, faculty presentations, and the Pathways Student Research Symposium at Prairie View A&M. Follow highlights of the week on Facebook.


 College of Business Job Fair

The College of Business will host its job fair on November 1st in the COBA Student Lounge on the Stephenville campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This is a wonderful opportunity for business students, alumni, and community members to network with professionals in various industries with business related open positions.  Come dressed in business professional attire with several copies of your resume in hand. Please be watching your Tarleton inbox for upcoming email notifications.  Tickets will be distributed beginning November 28th.  If you are unable to stop by the COGS office in Stephenville to get your tickets, please submit your request to have them mailed here. Also, contact the Campus Bookstore at 254-968-9007 to order your regalia.


#TXSocialMedia Conference

The Texas Social Media Research Institute (TSMRI) is proud to present the sixth annual #TXSocialMedia Conference. The conference brings together social media experts to provide insight and instruction on the benefits of popular social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Periscope, Vlogging and Snapchat. Conference sessions are based on four tracks: teaching and learning, higher education retention and marketing, research, and innovation.  The conference will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tarleton State University – Fort Worth Hickman Building on 6777 Camp Bowie Boulevard. Register Online!  Regular Registration – $120, On-Site Registration – $150, College/University Students – $30, Tarleton Faculty/Staff – $45.
